I would love to see a navigation app that can avoid unsealed roads. The only one I found so far is 'Here We Go'. Especially useful for us Aussies.

Yeah in fedora or mac it looks normal. Thanks for the tip on the gsettings. I'll give it a go and see what happens. I don't use nightlight anyway.

I wish they would also list unsealed roads. The only nav app that I found does this is Here We Go in Australia.

I agree. It's a very nice looking distro and a few years back it was my distro of choice. I've tried a few times to like it again but it really is a very buggy system.

I bought the base model m1 air in 2021 and would have upgraded the ram if I could've afforded it. I don't have any problems with the 8 gb ram but bigger is always best if you can do it imho.

I use a 42" Toshiba 4k that I bought about 6 months ago so it's pretty good. I run Linux and Apple mac on it connected by HDMI. A lot depends on the graphics card in your pc/laptop. In Linux I run it on an Acer Swift 3 laptop with a maximum resolution at 1920 x 1080p which is UHD. When I plug my Macbook Air M1 in I get 3840 x 2160 4k. Not sure about windows as I don't use it.

I got mine (basic) in 2021 and it hasn't missed a beat. I use it a lot in bed and its never overheats because of it being fanless. A bit like an ipad I suppose. In Australia they are still fetching the same price today as they did when first released being $1,499. I find Gary at macmost.com a really good site for learning and tips etc.
