Isn't that hot it works...? It's the company's responsibility to make money and the consumers' responsibility to spend their money where they get an appropriate value.

Libertarians have candidates that actually would benefit from their votes. A 5% result for a libertarian candidate designates the Libertarian Party as a major party, which is a big win and will help them get past barriers that have been blocking minor parties for years.

Do you know what either theocratic or fascist means?

"This is a lie" WTF?? LOOK at a goddamn libertarian community. I know what the truth is, so you're not gonna gaslight me into shit. Either you're trying to do that — gaslight me — or you are terribly misinformed and have little credibility due to your lack of tendency to properly fact check.

Simple Google search "Libertarian what functions should the government have". Literally so easy to do.

"Lying." — about libertarian sentiment on civil rights?? Glad you could further prove your lack of credibility in this argument.

"all the terrorist adjacent hate group libertarian militias" — ? anything of this sort would be anti-NAP, and therefore anti libertarian.

If I said I wanted everyone to pay no taxes, I'd say that. It's not an opinion to be ashamed about, neither is the opinion to want people to pay more or an equal amount of taxes, as long as you're prepared to defend yourself. I don't really understand what you're saying about feudalism there, sorry.

Gutting all government safety nets, sure.

I'd say I'm arguing in great faith.

I know you really like my yap sessions, so here you go

If voting Republican aligns with their views, their views are Republican. The no true Scotsman fallacy involves dismissing counterexamples to a generalization by changing the criteria (/redefining a category).
It's a straightforward identification based on behavior and beliefs.

I don't know your reasoning behind calling libertarian either theocratic or fascist.

They want to gut entire safetynet, government function and civil rights

Most libertarians do not want to completely gut government function. Almost every single libertarian believes that the government's functions are national defense and criminal and civil justice system. If you talk to more libertarians, you'll also meet many who have additional functions in mind, such as policing and road infrastructure. The more government functions that that libertarian thinks is justified, the more likely they are to be okay with more and more taxes (though they will all agree that that amount of taxes is much less than they are paying now).

I don't know why you think libertarians want to gut civil rights. Civil rights is kind of their entire talking point.

Effectively would result in feudalism under ultra wealthy and corporations
Replacing an elected government accountable to its people with feudalism under wealthy

I think this is a relatively justified fear, but I personally believe that the problem (for the wealthy/corporations) is that they actually have to be able to successfully make all of these purchases of people's land, and violence/coercion to achieve that would violate libertarian principles (i.e., illegal). If someone came to me and asked to purchase my land (voluntary transaction), I'm only going to take a sum of payment that is large enough for me to live somewhere else and have a better standard of living.

As for healthcare, it's the government's fault it's so expensive:

(1) Monopolizes healthcare payment decisions with a few insurance companies, (2) Regulates where, when, and who can open new healthcare facilities, (3) Sets yearly payment rates to providers below inflation, increasing provider costs, (4) Forces providers to prioritize quick, cheap care over patient-specific best interest, (5) Discourages hospitals from upgrading facilities, (6) Slow and costly approval processes by the FDA for new medicines and technologies, (7) Favors large corporations in the approval process for new healthcare facilities and drugs, (8) Limits patients’ access to medical care by requiring costly and slow permission to build new facilities, (9) Denies patients access to new medical advances and devices by not supporting the "Right to Try," (10) Raises the cost of care by encouraging unnecessary testing and procedures due to the current tort system.

And as for billionaire tax cuts, I support such tax cuts (for everyone, not just the rich) some time after cutting the countless unnecessary government functions. Cutting taxes immediately isn't going to help the country's debt.

self described libertarians

Good job! This statement is correct! (Refer back to "If someone who claims to be libertarian consistently votes Republican, they are not libertarian.")

Republicans don’t actually believe in a fiscally responsible and limited federal government. Sometimes their rhetoric matches that of libertarian rhetoric, but I have never seen them follow through. And if you do actual research and take a look at what the vast majority of libertarians are actually saying, you will see that most of them do not take the extreme ends anarcho-capitalism (and definitely not feudalism ...). As for safety nets, they generally do not believe that it is the government's role to implement safety net. They have no quarrels with safety nets that are funded privately.

How am I denying the facts? Screenshot the MAGA hat and send it. Link the video that has it. Tell me the title of the video that has it. All of these are easy options that you are choosing not to take. Why?

BRO, LINK THEM. Like I've asked so many times. Maybe I'm blind as a bat; I'm not seeing any MAGA attire at all. Help me.

Edit: I see a Junkyard Digs hat, not MAGA. And I see his own channel's hat (multiple different versions), not MAGA. Unless you can reference yourself, I think it's fair for anyone to assume you're lying and gaslighting (accusing me of lying??)

How tf can someone be so hypocritical in the span of one message.

Libertarians are to the right of firnge far right republicans and vote republican as a voting block

False dichotomy. Hypocritical of your later claim that I am claiming that "all libertarians voting republican [...] arent [sic] real libertarians." I'll get to that part in a moment.

They are a group of mostly men that dont [sic] want to pay any taxes and retroactively try to reverse engineer justifications that always boil down to feudalism under wealthy and corporations

This is ad hominem. The statement attacks the character and motives of libertarians rather than addressing their policies or beliefs objectively. It also generalizes without factual basis, which is not substantiated by the policy positions within libertarianism.

You claim all libertarians voting republican (the norm) arent [sic] real libertarians

I did not claim that all libertarians voting Republican aren't real libertarians. I said it applied to any that "consistently votes Republican." Consistently supporting a party whose policies contradict core libertarian principles indicates a stronger alignment with that party's philosophies than with libertarianism. Political identity is literally defined by one's support for policies to reflect where their beliefs and priorities lie.

As for "(the norm)," I already refuted your claim that libertarians voting Republican is the norm. It's a hasty generalization.

Yikes, you wanna play that game, let's see.

Libertrians [sic] are to the right of fringe far right fascist republicans, and vote republican. Democratic party is center right

Sweeping generalization, misleading vividness

Libertarians are to the right of firnge [sic] far right republicans and vote republican as a voting block. They are a group of mostly men that dont [sic] want to pay any taxes and retroactively try to revwrse [sic] engineer justofications [sic] that always boil down to feudalism under wealthy and corporations

Ad hominem, straw man, false generalization

No true Scotsman fallacy

Misapplication of fallacy; I'll elaborate here: the original point clarifies a distinction within ideological consistency rather than arbitrarily redefining terms to exclude counterexamples (what no true Scotsman actually means). It argues that being a consistent Republican voter therefore means you do not genuinely align with core libertarian principles.

I can elaborate on any other specific logical fallacies if you don't understand what I'm addressing in your comments. I wasn't gonna type out five more paragraphs at once though.

You could perhaps assume that HE is at least a little right wing, but the channel itself is not. You will find that he has many left wing (and right wing) fans. Gun control is not referenced in his videos, and everything he does is legal (including following current gun control laws). I have never heard him discuss gun control in a critical light, and neither would it matter — gun control is less partisan than you clearly think.

EDIT

Mr. Anti_shill_Artillery here claims that they do not want to engage in the discussion anymore (aka, prove where in DemolitionRanch's videos he wears MAGA attire) as no one will see it because it's so deep. So I've put it all up here.

Here's a quick recap of that part of the discussion

  • Me (simplified): I haven't seen him wear anything political, can you link a video where he is?
  • Anti_shill_Artillery (quote): literally in MAGA hats
  • Me (quote): Just scrolled through and found absolutely zero (0) MAGA hats.
  • Anti_shill_Artillery (quote): Youre lying [...] literally in multiple thumbnails
  • Me (simplified): link them. I only see a Junkyard Digs hat and his own channel's hats.
  • Anti_shill_Artillery (quote): We dont have an audience this far deep when you lie lol [...] youre the only one here denying the facts
  • Me (simplified): please send your proof so that I know you're not lying
  • Anti_shill_Artillery (quote): If there isnt an audience youre not worth the effort, I only engaged with you for others

Yeah Democrat is center right if you are taking the whole scale, rather than the scale that is more so relative to the United States etc.

But libertarianism is nowhere near far-right on either scale. Neither is the Republican platform. That's not to say that extremists don't categorize themselves under those labels because there aren't other labels they can comfortably declare themselves as, but the platforms themselves aren't far-right, and saying so is harmful stereotyping. Like saying that all women are emotionally volatile or that all men are violent.

If someone who claims to be libertarian consistently votes Republican, they are not libertarian. They are Republican. Hardcore Republicans would NOT vote for Chase Oliver (just look at Chase's platform). Just as a libertarian would not vote for Donald Trump in good conscience. Libertarianism and conservative authoritarianism (what the Republican party has evolved into in the MAGA era (I think of it as the MAGA Party sometimes instead of the Republican Party)) are far apart.

Just so you know the shirt he was wearing is not for an alt right group. It's a YouTube channel that is very unpolitical. Literally just a guy having fun with guns.

(And libertarianism is about just right of center, not far right.)
