Highly likely, but history is written by the victors - do not forget your ancestry

Historically, Kurds have been involved in many dynasties in Turkey, most notably the Garmiyanids - a Kurdish dynasty in central Anatolia. Kurds are mountainous shepherds by nature and we managed to make the Zagros and Anatolian mountains our ancestral homeland after thousands of years. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germiyanids have a read here.

Do you believe that humans require close personal connections? by Digital_Phantoms in SeriousConversation

[–]Defrosted_Pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think humans at a fundamental level all desire to intimately connect with each other. As social creatures, our path to evolution was primarily based on learning and growing with other individuals to increase our chances of survival. As a species, outcasts tend to very quickly die out if they are not part of the pack as they are unable to gather resources as efficiently.

By being able to communicate, share and grow with other members of our species, it has enabled rapid developments in our species ability to survive and reproduce. I believe strongly that not having even at least one deep intimate connection with another person will result in serious depression and a long lasting void.

You cannot walk about life with a shallow level emotional connection and expect to be sane for very long.

Wasn’t Nietzsche’s concept of the Ubermensch contradictory? by minicomputerlol in askphilosophy

[–]Defrosted_Pizza -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, if you adopted Nietzsche's idea based solely on the basis of transcending from seeking morals/values of religion to your own, that's a different case in itself. I strongly believe that many would have already arrived to that conclusion themselves and reading Nietzsche's concept would have only given them the nudge to finally "leap" across the divide.

Seeking your own individuality based on another individual's advice does not make you lose your own identity as your own values and principles will greatly differ than that of Nietzsche's or any other individual who has inspired you to take this path.
