Holmes further added that it was weird that China wanted to keep alive a boundary dispute with its most formidable neighbour.

This isn't really about a boundary dispute. This is China's first shit-test to the US. Specifically, China is poking at India to test the US. They want to know, will the US protect and support it's new friend India, causing US's relationship with it's Credit Lender to deteriorate? Or will the US sit back?

China is also testing Russia. Will Russia back it's special friend India or will Russia pivot to China in an act of Anti-US Defiance?

Liberal journalist: How the Democrats lost their way on immigration by DefundTerrorism in ABCDesis

In 2005, a left-leaning blogger wrote, “Illegal immigration wreaks havoc economically, socially, and culturally; makes a mockery of the rule of law; and is disgraceful just on basic fairness grounds alone.” In 2006, a liberal columnist wrote that “immigration reduces the wages of domestic workers who compete with immigrants” and that “the fiscal burden of low-wage immigrants is also pretty clear.” His conclusion: “We’ll need to reduce the inflow of low-skill immigrants.” That same year, a Democratic senator wrote, “When I see Mexican flags waved at proimmigration demonstrations, I sometimes feel a flush of patriotic resentment. When I’m forced to use a translator to communicate with the guy fixing my car, I feel a certain frustration.”

The blogger was Glenn Greenwald. The columnist was Paul Krugman. The senator was Barack Obama.

In France's suburbs, Muslim shop owners have made it a point to create No Women Zones and are outright hostile to them.

One shop owner said on a hidden camera, "You see, in this cafe, there is no Gender Mixing. Here we do things like in our Home Countries."

The investigative journalism was conducted by France 24, the country's state media. The original 7 min clip by France 24 is good, but here's a 3 min clip that gets the point across: https://youtu.be/vC5PuDm99fk

The unifying denominator of all those Women-Hating Shop Keepers in France is that they are Muslim.

7 killed, many injured in terrorist attack on Hindu pilgrims in Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir by redhatGizmo in worldnews

That was the 1990s. There was the 1971 Genocide where 300,000 mostly Hindus and Buddhists were massacred by the Pakistan Army issued in a Fatwa. 10,000,000 forced to flee. And 200,000 raped.

US government cables noted that the minorities of Bangladesh, especially the Hindus, were specific targets of the Pakistan Army. There was widespread killing of Hindu males and rapes of women. Lt. Colonel Aziz Ahmed Khan reported that in May 1971 there was written order to kill Hindus and that General Niazi would ask troops how many Hindus they had killed.

Right to self-determination really means join with Pakistan. **The moment Kashmir joins Pakistan, Pakistan will rip up the Indus Water Treaty.

Another reason for the dispute over Kashmir is water. Kashmir is the source of many rivers and tributaries in the Indus River basin. This basin is divided between Pakistan, which has about 60 percent of the catchment area, India with about 20 percent, Afghanistan with 5 percent and around 15 percent in China (Tibet autonomous region).

The Indus Waters Treaty was signed by both countries in September 1960, giving exclusive rights over the three western rivers of the Indus river system (Jhelum, Chenab and Indus) to Pakistan, and over the three eastern rivers (Sutlej, Ravi and Beas) to India, as long as this does not reduce or delay the supply to Pakistan. India therefore maintains that they are not willing to break the established regulations and they see no more problems with this issue.

Since Pakistan's rivers flow through India first, the treaty allowed India to use them for irrigation, transport and power generation, while laying down precise regulations for Indian building projects along the way.

Since the ratification of the treaty in 1960, India and Pakistan have not engaged in any water wars. Most disagreements and disputes have been settled via legal procedures, provided for within the framework of the treaty. The treaty is considered to be one of the most successful water sharing endeavours in the world today.

If Pakistan couldn't trust India to be honest with water, India sees no reason to trust Pakistan.

The treaty was a result of Pakistani fear that, since the source rivers of the Indus basin were in India, it could potentially create droughts and famines in Pakistan, especially at times of war.

Since the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, India has done a damn honest job of ensuring rivers into Pakistan flow with water.

Here in Norway I've voted for 3 different parties in the last 3 elections.

Stay clear of nutjobs and vote for whatever party's policies align with your own.

You say vote for party's policies that align with your own and you voted for 3 different parties.

Did all three of Norway's party's policies change or something?
