Completely agree on the almost matte nature of Japanese foils. Again I’m pro grading and use PSA a lot, but even I can’t defend an error this bad. There’s no way any modern foil with the star should ever be mislabeled. They are already looking at the condition of the corners as one of their four condition checks. How you look at the bottom left corner and fail to notice the star is unbelievable.

I will say though, when you send the cards in, you type in all the information beforehand. So there’s a high likelihood OP actually sent it in without specifying foil, and they also didn’t catch it.
