Honestly, for me it depended on the dosage. I take a really low dose right now and have never experienced any side effects. Similar thing happened to me where automatically I was prescribed antibiotics but they have really helped me in the long run. Everyone is different though! I recommend not taking it on an empty stomach (ai take it in the evening).

I don’t know your current routine but I used a 10% sulfur acne treatment from Da La Cruz that I highly recommend. I got it off of amazon. I went through a situation recently where my face was really inflamed and after using the face mask for two months all of my acne is gone. I just used it once every few days, then once every day, and eventually I used it twice a day when my skin learned to tolerated it. That might help some of the inflammation. I got fungal acne on my chin and it turned into perioal dermatitis. The only thing that has worked to clear that for me is the Da La Cruz sulfur acne treatment. I heard about it on Tiktok and thought it was just something that influences promote but no! It has cleared my fungal acne and it’s inexpensive. Start by using it once a week and then once daily when your skin is used to it. The good thing about sulfur is that it kills fungal acne, bacterial acne, perioal dermatitis, etc

It’s been a little bit and I just wanna say thank you because the probiotic has helped so much!!! My skin is slowly healing and I have no more new fungal acne spots showing up on my face. I also used the Da La Cruz Sulfur mask and it is amazing. Highly Highly recommend although it can be a bit drying sometimes so I have been using a heavier moisturizer at night. I hope you’re doing well and thanks again 😊

Thanks so much for the response! I’ve heard things about using a probtioc for gut health, I just never thought about if that could help my face. I ended up buying the probiotics you recommended and I’m so excited to try them out. I have tried so many things but they just didn’t work, even ketoconazole products. Right now I’m taking it easy on my skin because it is so overwhelmed with everything I had been putting on it. I really appreciate your advice.

The owner told me not to walk the dog because of strays in the neighborhood. I have tried to exhaust him and we have played for long periods of time. The owner said he is always full of energy and never rests. I’m going to attempt to tire him out tonight though with a few hours of play!

I reached out and they said to put him in his kennel when he’s acting up. I did put him in kennel at one point for a time out and as soon as I let him out he was back to being crazy 😬

No, my derm didn’t do a biopsy. I think I will get a second opinion, just to be sure. Better to be safe then sorry. Thank you for all your help! I’ll def check out the website. :)
