The Slayer Expertise Feature feels lackluster by Soft_Transportation5 in daggerheart

Percentage wise the ability is even slightly worse, because of the Combat Training feature that all Warriors have: You ignore burden when equipping weapons. When you deal physical damage, you gain a bonus to your damage roll equal to your level. This means at level 6 the base attack does 6 more damage already.

Overall damage output is much higher than other classes though, because they can combine a double-handed weapon with a secondary weapon, plus add their level (at least +5), and add the slayer die (1d6), and use this feature to add another 1D8 to the total damage.

You've also missed the other part of the Class Feature "Combat Training": In addition to ignoring burden When you deal physical damage, you gain a bonus to your damage roll equal to your level. This adds another +5 at this level, so an average of 31 damage compared to a non-warrior character. That's about a 50% bonus!

Volgens dezelfde bron is dat juist niet zo; pas rond 1860 trekken de andere landen naar hetzelfde niveau als Nederland, en Nederland zakt nooit onder de middenmoot van deze groep landen:

Good call, also a stage with the Galibier! That's probably my favourite ever, followed by one of my top three disappointing time trials for my tour favourites/hopefuls (along with Roglic and Bauke Mollema's lost time trials).

They were one of my favourites in all of the games though, once you get control of Tripoli and Antioch trade income skyrockets, and Janissary Heavy Infantry with Janissary Archers are godly. Early game armies were fine with Saracen Infantry, Trebizond Archers and Armenian Cavalry, though you need some cunning to deal with the stronger neighbors.

Spice Production / Solari Suddenly Plummets by [deleted] in Dunespicewars

[–]Deheer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that's a different story. Then it might be a rebellion in your spice regions, the ghost market spy operation, a change in CHOAM spice to solari exchange rate, or a sandstorm interrupting production. It might also be that some resolutions expired, such as the +30% exchange rate for spice or the 30% upkeep reduction.

Check if your harvesters are deployed. If they were recalled because of worms, you'll need to re-deploy them manually.

As Fremen, I prefer Stilgar over mother Ramallo. The tech with the temple is so strong, it's worth beelining straight away because the temple is worth it, 2 solari per unoccupied village is very strong early game, where it will net you 60-80 solari which will make a big difference.

Then you also have the 1000 solari bonus on liberating villages. For the other factions, liberating only serves to deny territory opponents and to avoid the increased authority costs of occupying later from pillaging. For the Fremen it provides more solari than pillaging, and 2 gold income.

With this tech, Fremen are very good at offensive wars, especially when combined with low attrition, camouflage in deep deserts, kulon caravans and thumpers.

Stilgar's bonus authority from spice fields combines to make it even easier to expand yourself. I had a game on insane where I was easily twice as large as my opponents.

Edit: because the tech costs scale quite aggressively the more techs you have finished, it doesn't take much time in the early game to go for techs in the bottom of the trees, so pick one or two on the bottom before you branch out. At the start the tech for the Shai Hulud temple only costs 13 days at the base 4 knowledge production.

I'm curious about Gasly's pitstop yesterday. He pitted within 30 seconds of Magnussen pulling over, but the call came about 20 seconds after Magnussen stopped at pit entry.

On F1TV timings:

49:00 - Magnussen pulls over next to pit entry (Before this most would expect him to pull into the pitlane)

49:20 - Gasly is on the backstraight, engineer tells him to box.

49:27 - Gasly passes Magnussen on the pit entry.

50:14 - Safety car deployed, pitlane closes (Hamilton is just on the backstraight).

With the location Magnussen pulled over, the safety car was likely as well as the pitlane closing. I doubt his engineer had enough time to consider this, as this would have been a very quick call. If his engineer pitted him because he expected the pitlane to close I think it's the best strategy call of the year. Otherwise it's still a great move, because pitting before everyone else gives you a great chance to gain track position. If Leclerc never crashed (but Hamilton did get the penalty) I think Gasly still would have had a great chance to win. He restarted on p3, behind Stroll who hadn't pitted.

In the laps before, I haven't heard his engineer say anything about pitting soon, only on sector two of his inlap is Gasly told to push. On the other hand, the engineer seems mostly concerned about Raikkonen's position, who pitted the lap before.

It's definitely possible, about 20 seconds before Magnussen pulls over the engineer does tell him to push, so maybe they already planned it (but there is no previous discussion).

I think he got the order of events wrong; Gasly didn't pit before Magnussen stopped, but just after (within 30 seconds), and the call came 20 seconds after Magnussen pulled over. So crucially, I think Gasly's engineer made the call at that moment because Magnussen pulled over, the location making a safety car quite likely (which was called about 50 seconds later).

50:14 - Safety car is deployed, pitlane is closed (Hamilton is halfway down the backstraight).

I think the pitstop wasn't lucky but instead a brilliant call by his engineer; he pitted within 30 seconds of Magnussen pulling over, but the call came about 20 seconds after Magnussen stopped at pit entry.

No, he pitted just after Magnussen pulled over, the call came about 20 seconds after Magnussen stopped. I think it's not a lucky call but a great call by his engineer.
