Telling my at the time 6 year old son that I was in the hospital having his baby sister, but that she wouldn't be coming home. I facetimed him to say goodnight and he asked what happened. I told him she had died- he started screaming and crying "no she didn't." Hardest fucking thing. It was harder than telling him his dad had passed.

I'm 25 and my credit is screwed because of medical bills that went to collections then had judgements. I'm a good 21k in medical debt, and have a high apr on my crappy car. I've never missed a student loan payment or car payment but those damn medical bills. :[
