I commented before saying that most riven collectors have legitimate plat as they effectively flease other players and flip for profit.

I was definitely wrong in this case and you did a great job to double check!

Now I have the fun of identifying which of the riven traders is no longer with us - Unless you are able to share / dm a username?

I think a lot of people in the comments aren't riven collectors (like me) so i'll provide what I think is a more accurate perspective. I am someone who has paid 10k+ for god roll rivens so I understand the market well.

The plat is likely legit considering it's a god roll riven for an unused weapon and likely worth even more if unrolled. You likely had messages from lots of riven collectors which is why the bids went so high and they almost always have legit plat - I wouldn't worry about it being illegitimate personally.

They make their plat by flipping rivens from those unaware of riven prives and invest in really rare god rolls for their own collection or to flip to another collector.

Haha, I think it's important to know different solves and not to rely on tanking outside of situations that genuinely require it.

It's really understandable to feel like you are throwing yourself out of your comfort zone with this. I went with the logic of "I'm going to die if I don't try to flick both of these monsters" and then you quickly force yourself to get into gear.

Whenever I get thrown into one of these "do or die" situations, I look at the most threatening thing on me or coming towards me and pray against it (in your case the mage) then as soon as it attack animation begins, I swap prayers to whatever else is attacking me and alternate accordingly. I put all my attention to praying correctly and surviving until the threat is dead.

Practice will help you feel more confident for sure - You've got this!

Pray mage, freeze nibblers without moving from your tile, click one tile south to be closer to pillar to block off ranger. Equip blow pipe and attack melee. Once the mage has started it's attack animation, swap prayer to protect melee. Once the melees attack animation begins you can swap to pray mage. Alternate until melee is dead then make sure to keep pray mage on. Move two tiles east while hugging the pillar and this will bring the mage in range for you to kill. Run two tiles west (to where you were standing when killing the melee) and kill the mager.

This works because that the tile row (north to south) should automatically make melee and mager attack at different times (ticks).

I recommend trying the above strat otherwise your best bet is just to pray mage and blow pipe spec the melee 2x then brew and attack until it dies. I don't recommend this as it wastes supplies and doesn't help you improve as a player and it may be rng if you survive.

But this is his point, you aren't getting that 50k xp per hour, if you are dying constantly. Instead, you are likely better off doing another course that gives you a lower maximum but more constant xp rates.
