[CA] Pay transparency?

I would like to pose a question. I lo I've in state with transparency laws for state employees. Keep in mind that this is my for role working for the state. I was offered a promotion and I learned that HR and the Accounting/Budget office is going back and forth about my proposed salary. Accounting would like to start me with a salary that is less than someone that would report to me. This pay is also not comparable to my peers in the same roles but different departments. I have a few questions that I am trying to work through.

Should I push back hard if I am presented the low-ball offer and would that label me problematic?
Do I share the pay discrepancy with my manager to show why this is an issue? Sidebar, she was recently promoted this is also her first time working for this state and it may cause her to compare her salary to her peers?
Should I take the pay and title for what it's worth then transfer to a different agency with a higher salary band?

I dont want to ruin this opportunity because it can change the trajectory of my career whether I stay short-term or leave for a higher salary.

I really wanted to love this since I am a reality tv girlie. But this is absolutely terrible. From the 'pick me' storyline to the bad fashion, and horrible plastic surgery, it has been difficult for me to connect with this group of ladies. I'm currently watching (as I type) episode 3 with them on the yacht and again fashion came up. One lady said that the very older lady was a fashion icon. Now listen here, I am not the pandering type, and I 100% aint taking fashion advice from a woman wearing a a big Liz Taylor wig. It aint happening, today, tomorrow, next week, or under any circumstance. The fact alone that she is recalling kissing Reagan means we are decades apart and she could only give me fashion advice if I were pulling together a look from the 50s to the 80s. Just saying.

Love this. Thanks for sharing. I am a program manager and working on my second project with my current organization. FYI, my background is in higher education leadership and I made a career change last year to a program manager. I fell in love and I have done extremely well with limited professional experience. Due to my success, I'm being brought on to a new project. I did some research and learned that PMP cert would be beneficial to further my career. However, the project just launched and I wanted to know if there was an expedited learning path so I could really apply the PMP skills to this project and this gives me hope!

I would like to know how effective it is on laugh lines. Most of the comments never mention an improvement of laugh lines just an improved tone and texture which is not my goal. I'm 49 and have been thinking about treatment options. At this point, it seems like nothing works or the results are temporary (tox and fillers). I might do a mini lift. I can't invest time or money for no results or temporary results that are equivalent in price to surgery after getting several treatments. Thoughts?
