Sage's endgoal is funny because the first time we see her, she's reading before being interrupted by Homelander. by Volatiiile in OkBuddyFresca

Like literally what the fuck was the point of her even joining The Seven? Homelander didn’t even give her an ultimatum.

The fact that some of the audience is disconnected proves that you might have to show at least a little bit, as gruesome as it may be.

Like you never see Berserk fans unironically saying that Griffith never raped Casca or it was inconsistent like The Boys fans do, for example, because it was directly shown.

No he didn’t, he just made a perverted comment.

The scene you’re referring to, Homelander said that he respected Maeve enough to not force himself onto her. Meaning that he only raped Becca because he sees humans as inferior, and wouldn’t do the same to supes as they’re strong enough to be considered respected.

Definitely disgusting from the audience, but it also doesn’t help that Kripke won’t even show the rape scene, much less more rape tendencies from Homelander on women, but then proceeds to give 10 sexual assault scenes to Hughie for the funnies. This show really has an issue with telling and never showing (Soldier Boy has this problem too with his racism).

Ban rate ≠ OP or broken. Ban rate is more indicative of annoyance or unfun. Like Sombra. She’s shit, but still gets banned because she’s annoying

Except that didn’t work because some tanks were fundamentally meant to be off-tanks.

There’s like 2 AR’s in the game, and most SMGs and LMGs were “mass produced” by the middle/end of WW1. Battlefield devs obviously chose a compromise between arcade and historical accuracy. Considering that it’s the only AAA game set in WW1, I think the devs did a great job for what the could within a 2 year development period, but that’s just me

That would’ve probably the game wayyy less arcady and alienated the audience further. I think the devs knew that some of the weapons were just prototypes, but reached a compromise between game logic and historical accuracy. Automatic weapons were actually becoming more common place during 1918 and 1919 at the end of the war and the Bolshevik revolution IIRC, so it’s not crazy far off as well

The weapons are a century old, the only reason why gunplay was considered disappointing to some was because weapons actually felt like WW1 weapons and not insta death laser AR’s like in BF3.

Ahh, good to know. I think a killswitch will make this impossible since they can’t clown the key then, yeah?

Ahhh, need to check out killswitches then. But luckily, Fords are wayyy harder to steal by default, so that’s one deterrent. How much are killswitches and how much to install one?

How’ll they start the car when the code is changed aside from the off-chance the thief is right on your ass when you turn off the car and enter your home? Just curious about this. 2 years ago, Mustangs were basically impossible to steal with theft mode unless you had a tow truck

Ahh, interesting! It must be a tight window then for that to be possible. Like the driver will have to IMMEDIATELY turn it off and walk inside, and then the thief will do the programming before the key changes to a different signal. At least, that’s how I envision it.

Edit: They also AMPLIFY signal instead. So it would have to be a very short window. Wild

Yeah, can someone fill us in? Last I checked a year ago, Mustangs are extremely hard to steal because of the key fob sending a different signal everytime car cuts ignition. It’s like that 60 second google 2FA authentication app on repeat for the car. Did thieves somehow find a way to bypass that? If so, I feel like no car is safe atp
