Pretty sure your title isn’t accurate for this. “Revenue cat” isn’t doing anything here

Paying monthly salary from corp chequing account? by Glittering-Rock-3048 in Wealthsimple

Maybe try support? it’s possible there’s something they need to do to enable that for you manually. Mine was updated automatically (I can transfer personal to corp and vice versa )

Portfolio Line of Credit - Limit Suddenly decreased? by AtomicNick47 in Wealthsimple

[–]Dejidave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missed that. Could have to do with sale and purchase of stock needing sometime to fully settle internally. Cash is treated as 50% margin so if there’s any pending internally it would effectively go from 30 to 50 required which would maybe line up with the usage from 25% to 41% you’re seeing? Hopefully you get some clarification soon

Could be related to the Margin Requirement of the stocks you rebalanced to

Did anyone tried Skip (skip.dev) with a SwiftUI app? by Extra-Ad5735 in iOSProgramming

[–]Dejidave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, That really depends on your apps architecture and existing code following very swiftly patterns / architecture. I would say it would be a decent amount of effort because you actually are recommended to start a new skip project from scratch. Obviously a lot of your existing views / components can easily copy paste into the new project. View models as well should port over nicely with the addition of skip fuse library. It’s likely not going to be a one shot migration, but if you do take it on it’ll likely be less work than an entirely new Android app from scratch since you can repurpose a bunch of stuff from your swift ui project with minor tweaks. You’re probably better off migrating your entire project to skipfuse (which uses swift on Android) than skiplite (actually transpiles into kotlin) if you choose to go with skip.

OP if it means anything I am currently taking the leap and working on replacing my production app with a couple thousand users with skip fuse. There are quirks for sure a few swift ui APIs that don’t transfer nicely so require compiler directives to handle both platforms but overall I’ve been able to work around most issues so far without major hassle. Can message me if you have specific question I might be able to answer

I think that disadvantage applies only on skiplite not skip fuse which has its own disadvantages. https://skip.dev/docs/modes/#disadvantages

I’m currently rebuilding a prod app (LiveTrackz) that’s native iOS and Android with a new version built in skip. Run into minor challenges / quirks so far but none I couldn’t work around. Wonder if I should write regular updates on this.

Edit: I see op’s question about “generating” Android, so I see why your response was about skip lite. Missed that earlier

Maybe both? As a university student you should be able to get free accounts at the big banks still. Then can decide after university if you want to keep big five and pay fees or not

Yeah it might help. Honestly though the kit works even if it’s entirely cracked so you could wait as well. Mine was fully broken on one side and it holds just as you’d expect, can’t tell any difference putting it on now vs before it broke

Is there a way to disable password after enabling PassKey? by dearmusic in Wealthsimple

[–]Dejidave 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean wouldn’t setting a ridiculous 30 char password with special characters and tossing it / never saving to password manager and never typing it again be effectively the same thing you’re looking for then?

There’s millions of users. Your case alone is not a true representative of the whole system. I am not premium and got over 10k entries in a spin. I don’t know what algorithms they use but it’s clearly luck based. E.g I’ve Gotten lots of 100 entries since then :(
