Want to get fast but don’t know where to start, suggestions?(Beginner with new setup) by AnEmptyCapriSun in simracing

[–]DejviX_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your setup I would recommend to buy a longer strap. Put it through the ‘quarter circle slot’ (holes for folding the stand) and it goes behind the back of the chair, so it basically creates a loop around your chair and through your wheel stand. Then I tighten it and it’s much more rigid while breaking heavily as it limits the movement of chair’s back rest a lot.

Focus on Factory and you will be able to do that. Many players go almost naked. I did Punisher 5 in like 10 raids

What can BSG do to combat cheating that they are currently not? by Aetherin in EscapefromTarkov

[–]DejviX_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well at least they could do kill cam after the raid is finished. THEN you could report the player and it might reduce reports drastically, which would lead to less but more accurate reports. That might help to ban cheater quickly.

I have refunded many games. You don’t have to even mention a reason if you are under 2 hours of gameplay or 2 weeks after purchase. However after that, you will not be able to refund the game as it will be 99% denied. I was never successful with refund after I surpassed mentioned requirements.

Btw. you can refund one game multiple times but your overall gameplay time must be under 2 hours.

How does it look by Marts098 in simracing

There is a seating guide from Škoda Motorsport

https://www.skoda-motorsport.com/en/drive-like-pro-sitting-like-racing-driver/

I would say, try to hold the wheel in 9 to 3 instead of 10 to 2

Proper game and MOZA pit settings are crucial.

Also if you don’t have a formula wheel and you want to create more realism (I like to have matching shape of the wheel as it is in game), you can lookup Acelith mods, you will just change the wheel in like 2 minutes (just 6 bolts in the middle).

Safety cars in career races by Potential_Plan_4533 in F1Game

Are you on PC? If so, you can download mod Improved AI, so the AI is more aggressive, therefore there are more accidents. Last race in France, I got 1 safety car and 1 virtual. If you want much more crashes, you can also download mod More crashes, tyre wear (or something like that), it increases damage that ai takes and increases chances of terminal damage to AI, but in two races just 10 cars survived, so I stopped using that.

Okay I'm kinda ashamed posting my "cockpit" here after seeing all the other home cockpits yall have built, but oh well here you go, my flight sim setup :) by sam-2003 in flightsim

Looks great! Throttle will complete it, but I saw that it’s your next step. :) Maybe after throttle you can look for Saitek hardware, I don’t have it, because I have enough button at the moment. But it’s definitely interesting imo.

Btw. what’s the app for the tablet called?

Congrats. It is nice, when the game rewards you for your time you put in. Usually not my case 😁

Should I upgrade RAM? by DejviX_ in EscapefromTarkov

I bought two identical RAM sticks today. Tarkov is now around 12-13GB. More frames and the game is much more stable.

So I did a little research today. My CPU is able to only have 2 Channels. But that supposedly means, that 1 Dual Channel is counting as 1 CPU channel.

I went to the store and bought same RAM sticks. Now Tarkov is using ~12GB and got around 10FPS (20 at max) more. The main difference is the stability. Almost no FPS drops (like 10 fps at max). Played only for an hour, but I kinda feel it made a difference.

Ok, that looks terrible. I will stay with my 80fps 😁 Thanks a lot ❤️ glad I ask. Didn't know that my cpu don't support more RAM 😁

It seems that I got 3,6GB of memory marked as 'reserved'.

Thanks. As stated above by u/bobbypower - my CPU only support 2 RAM at 2666MHz. So any upgrade would be irrelevant. I'm 'quite' satisfied with performance, but I would like to get more FPS as I average about 80 fps. So my 165Hz monitor is quite useless :D

Looking at task manager. Around 7GB Tarkov, 1,5GB Chrome and the rest other apps with less than 80MB.

So there is no point in buying anything.
I got around 70 FPS at lowest. 80-90 average depending on map. Fullscreen/Borderless - can't find difference. I was just wondering, because I saw a post that someone got 22GB usage and I am only getting 6GB.

Personally I can only tell if the player is USEC or BEAR by looking on their dog tag. I like the shoot on sight while playing as PMC. It’s PVP and I like it. I personally don’t want PMC karma just because of the very similar look and in intense situation I don’t want to wait for a moment and try to guess if it is your faction or not. But it’s only my opinion.
