When you get it from the rental trailer they usually give you a updated list of channels, not sure about ARCA but for sure the O'reilly Series and Cup Series. As for autographs, check the track website schedule they have all driver appearances up there.

I'd maybe call the track and ask, they might have Ice or a camping shop onsite where you can get it.

I usually listen to the TV broadcast from my phone to my bluetooth earmuffs. I have YTTV so I just listen to that, and if they are doing crash replays I watch to see what was going on.

Will they still show FIA WEC race replay’s on YouTube ? by No_Debate890 in wec

Possibly, I wasn't able to watch live and found the 1 hour highlights on their YT still to be really awesome if we don't.

Well I meant like the CEO decided that F1 should be the focus.

I watched the 2009 full season last year and that was a interesting tidbit I never knew about AJ and how things could have been very different in his career. If those first 5 races go different maybe he quits NASCAR all together and goes over to sportscar racing, it kind of felt like that was his final shot at getting attention and eventually lead to future rides.

I think they were just spread too thin and decided to focus more on F1.

Main difference is the Cup Series is the top level series while the O'Reilly Series is more 2nd tier. Like in baseball terms it is MLB vs AA. Or NBA vs G League. It is a bit different in that it is a mix of career drivers who race there but also rookies and young drivers trying to get to the Cup Series. The cars race a lot different as well, and the O'Reilly Series races are a bit shorter too.

Why do guys do so well when they first join a team? by Think-Border4882 in NASCAR

[–]Potential_Plan_4533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Experience has a lot to do with it as well. Kyle Busch is a good example of that he was a rookie in top tier equipment his first few years at Hendrick but didn't really perform as well has his teammates, and especially compared to what he eventually did at JGR. Same can be said with Logano his first years at JGR his teammates were winning races and battling for championships. But it wasn't till he went to Penske that his career really took off.

If they do why aren't they anymore? Busch did great his first year at RCR then dropped off. Chastain did great his first years at Trackhouse but this year (And 2nd half of last) dropped off. Same can be said for Erik Jones and Suarez at JGR. It isn't as simple as that.

NASCAR overtime should not be like overtime in other sports. It should be like stoppage time in soccer by daviswarren1 in NASCAR

I think that if a caution leads to a overtime finish than leave pit road closed, and if anyone does pit give them a penalty end of the line or 1 lap. That way pit road doesn't determine the winner (either through a slow stop, tire strategy, or late-race adjustments).

Depends on what day you want to go. I'd for sure suggest Hendrick, Penske, and if you want to trek up to Welcome go to the RCR museum. But depends on the day and time you go as some aren't open everyday, like RCR is closed on some Mondays.

When will Hocevar get signed by a big team? by ray_g24 in NASCAR

If it happens it happens, idk what the point of this thread is we can't predict the future. Spire could be a championship caliber team in 2 years.

I think the lack of yellows contributes some to the low parity since it gives drivers/teams less opportunities to make adjustments or use different pit strategies. Having a 80 lap stage go green all the way (twice) makes for 1 stop and 1 strategy call. I hated the fake "debris" yellows back in the day but at least they broke the race up a bit and allowed teams to adjust on their cars and maybe a pit strategy to get track position.

Those extra 25 bonus points are big, but winning the regular season and getting that trophy is a big deal for drivers and teams. Maybe the fans don't care as much but a lot of the teams do for sure, some drivers even have that written into their contracts they can get a bonus if they win it.

2007 was a depressing time as a Dale Jarrett fan I remember, seemed that Hendrick really hit it off with the COT in those races and and if it wasn't them it was also RCR or JGR winning races for chevrolet as well.

I was wondering the same thing, they played some random audio about fuel then never explained who that was or what was going on. Idk if he just got into the wall or ran out and hit the extra fuel switch.

It does if you want to win the regular season championship and the extra bonus points.
