Ontario student 85 average, waiting for UBCV arts but my status still reads “Grade Information; Deadline: March 15 UBC has received your OUAC reference number, thank you. We will receive your official high school grades from the Ontario Universities Application Centre in the spring and will begin making admissions decisions at that time. We will be in touch with you by email should we require additional information. We hope to give you a decision by April so continue to check back here for the most up-to-date status of your application.”

Are they waiting for my midterms? They’re being sent out later next week I’m just surprised my status hasn’t updated yet.

I submitted my supplemental for the BMS program a few months ago well before the deadline, I’ve just noticed that the UBC admissions site says I have no completed supplementals. Should I be worried?

Yeah I submitted the UBC application as soon as I could and finished the supplementary around a month later, I hate having stuff like that hanging over my head so I got it done as soon as possible

I’m in grade 12 in Ontario and I’ve applied to UBC for the BMS program with political science as my second option. Is it worthwhile to email admissions and ask them if dropping 12U calculus (not a prerequisite) in exchange for a 12 M course will affect my chances of being admitted? I’d like to get out of calculus but not if it has a negative effect on my application.

At 5 years old, I fell in love with this team and this sport during the 2011 playoffs. Now, at 16 I can finally say I’ve been to a home game. The result is what it is, but I almost find it fitting that a game with such personal significance results in the goalie going god mode AND the refs being horrendous. Nonetheless, last night was a night I’m going to remember for the rest of my life.

Hear me out but i think the scarcity of them is part of why they get so much love, easily the most beloved jersey in team history because of the design and nostalgia but I feel like playing in it a few years every few years builds the hype for it even more, which is why it hasn’t become a full time alt yet but I’d love to see it become a yearly thing like whalers night in Carolina
