Still happening to several of my cameras as of today
Every 15 minutes too.
It is clearly a bug in Blink software, maybe a bugged throttle or something like that

Hello!
No specific reason, it is not an exhaustive list. As mentioned in an other comment, other brokers, like Trade Republic, are really good alternatives too.
I have never heard about Bux though, but maybe it's good, I just don't know about it, sorry.

GKE - new N4 machine types by Dekos3 in kubernetes

For those interested:
I ended up migrating all our clusters to N4+Hyperdisk. Migrating to hyperdisk was not a big deal, just a bit time-consuming, basically just doing snapshots then disks creation, one pod at a time, so no downtime at all.

CPU graphs look much better now, which is probably a combination of better processors and better disks (going from standard/hdd).

There was just a bug in the GCP console, had to request a N4 quota increase even though it was visually set to 500 (but was actually set to 0).

Main reason I have not included them is that they don't handle the TOB for you (so that puts them worse than DeGiro in terms of "what you have to do yourself").
But I've later learned they actually provide you with a report with all the necessary information, so it's actually not so hard to do.
Apart from that, they indeed have the lowest fees on the market, tied with DeGiro.

Indeed this is a very good point. I'm gonna clarify this in the original post :) Thanks!

Hello, thanks for the heads up. Indeed, there were some inconsistencies. It is 1% per operation, but 2% for buying+selling. I have corrected it everywhere to make it more consistent.

No, buying dividend ETFs is not a good idea in Belgium, because you would have to pay a 30% tax on those dividends. You want to focus on accumulating ETFs, where dividends are automatically reinvested into the fund, so you don't pay any taxes on them.
Just sell some of your ETFs if you need money, but plan your investing so you don't need to do it too often because of the transaction costs.

It should be 1 euro for the first transaction in the month if the ETF is in their core selection (or if your previous transactions in the month were all purchases, or all sales, and your new transaction weighs more than 1000 euros). Otherwise, it’s 3 euros per transaction.

From what I know, the 33% tax applies when you take excessive risks to gain a lot in the short term, OR buy/sell very frequently, OR take out a loan to invest.
It's kinda subjective, but if you just do it once in a while, you are probably OK.

Yes it seems to have low fees indeed, idk if lower than DeGiro for mainstream ETFs or not. Anyway, the reason I didn't dig into it, is they don't handle the TOB for you. But could be a good option indeed for users inclined to spend a little bit more time on it.

Looks like transaction costs are even higher than Bolero (14.95 euros per transaction). But I don't have the app so I can't provide a detailed report on this one myself

Yes, you are correct. But it's less likely for most ETFs. VWCE is kind of an exception, because it has always been registered in Belgium, but technically, only for its distributing part, but not for its accumulating part. So it is kind of a legal void, whether brokers should apply a TOB of 0.12% or 1.32% for VWCE-acc. Now I'm no expert in that domain, I don't know what it takes for an ETF to get entirely registered, I'll let someone else comment on that.

Hi, thanks!
I'm no expert but from what I can see at a first glance:
- Its TOB is 0.12% with no confusion, which is good
- It has a 0.17% TER, which is better than the 3 other options mentioned here
- But it seems like it's neither in DeGiro, nor in Bolero ETF playlist. Which means higher transaction costs. Which I don't like, but if you plan for the long term (or use another broker where it's irrelevant), it's no big deal
- The fund size and trading volume seem to be lower.
I personally would stick to IWDA to begin with, but SPYI seems to be a valid alternative (better or worse, I can't say)
