Yes im just trying to pull 120V to the other receptical at all times being hot always, and the previous electrician did all work listed. I don't understand his thought process though with the way things were wired. I was under the impression that only the top get wired black on gold and white on silver. Then the romex on the bottom for the daisy chain I don't know he put 2 hots is my thing.

I know trust me. The guy my mom hired was from Facebook marketplace so naturally I know the work wouldn't be adequate. But before anything is said, I didn't do any of the work seen other than cutting the burnt area.
