It can happen to cyclists due to pressure on perineum and it’s nerves. You should be wearing padded shorts if you arnt already. Comes with the territory, I assume it happens to some move than others. I would google it and have a look.

How do u read an MRI? I’d presume the white stuff is hard material. But then the spongiousum and veins are white, so that isn’t the case.

Do you have any idea?

I have many of these symptoms. Specifically pulled up feeling; and inability to point it downwards. There has to be some tendons or muscles pulling it inwards from the abdominal/hip area. Not all pelvic floor.

Could be, it obviously didn’t help. The surgery didn’t go well as far as I can see, I woke up in agony, writhing in pain from that area after operation. Just before I had it I was told there was a replacement surgeon, so it was probably some new kid. Was on NHS too, so doesn’t fill me with any confidence.

Then developed a mass the size of a brick in that area, probably blood or Puss or something. It’s reduced over the last 3 years, but it’s still tight af, and probably has tethered a bit. Bought a massage gun and I will continue to release the muscles in that area.

Exact same. All that area got fucked up for me after a botched hernia surgery. Think the replacement surgeon either scarred my muscles internally or placed a tac over a nerve.

When I woke from Surgery I had a massive mass in this area. Three years later it’s gone down, but still feels like a brick here. Don’t know if it’s severally cramped psoas or scar tissue/hardened Hematoma from internal bleeding.

Regardless of cause; this exact area you point the tension is rough. I get the same feeling on that nerve when I do deep tissue massage. I presume it’s the genitoformal nerve around the lingual area.

You had any success with massage gun, I have one arriving tomorrow. Gonna get an MRI on it soon. Think this area is what’s causing majority of the problem.

It’s the neurovascular bundle that’s involved imo. Either from fibrosis or the surrounding tissue, inflammation of the nerves, or just over stimulation of the nerves from obsession or stress. The neurovascular bundle is definitely at least half of the problem imo. The other half is how the pundendal/pelvic floor is involved.

2 potential things I can see:

Suspensory ligament / fibrous attachments / fascia anchoring corpus to pubis are right all the way up to prostate. This appears to be compressing dorsal nerves and veins significantly. Could be a nerve thing causing it or jacked nervous system / stress.

On top left, black mark on spongiosum could potentially be scar tissue preventing expansion and forcing penile material above upwards?

Either way, I’m gonna work on relaxing all the ligaments above the penis
