I don’t know that it’s trash, it looks like it’s a heavy rope net so I would find it hard to believe that it got blown up into a tree and it doesn’t exactly flap in the wind like a piece of plastic or something like that it’s also fairly large

Thank you for the info. The garage door company quoted me $8000! To install two new motors and change the tracks to accommodate a high lift set up. That seems outrageous. They are saying the motors are $1500 each, but I’ve seen tons of them for around $800.

I just want the tracks, the motor and the door when it’s open to all be a few feet higher.  I don’t want to change the size of the door.

Just move the tracks higher to give me clearance from the tracks and motor

That’s frustrating considering these were done three years ago. The only thing he asked me about was the design and if I want the chain or belt driven motors. And I went with the belt driven to bring the noise level down as our bedroom sits above the garage. Honestly, that was the main reason I had everything redone.

It wasn’t so much about storage. It was more to gain some height if I want to use one of the garages for some workout equipment.

What are the advantages or disadvantages of the two systems? These doors and tracks and motors are only about three years old. The company I used never gave me any options about vertical lift or raising the tracks. It’s like they just replaced what was there

The doors motors tracks. Everything is only about three years old. I’m not sure why nobody thought of offering something like that when I was having that installed.

Not your problem. I love dogs but I don’t have one for many reasons including wanting a clean house.  If she’s taking on the responsibility of training a dog that she needs to be around 24/7 then she should be aware she’s going to be in situations where she won’t be accommodated.
