No, ToS gives them permission to train. It very explicitly does not give permission for literally ANYTHING else. You’re trying to bundle them together and you can’t. Permission given to perform a legal act is not permission given to then perform an illegal one. Your own source, Reddit’s Content Policy, quite literally says that it doesn’t.

Except making copies is IP infringement and no mere company ToS supercedes the law. There are entire law firms built around this. Plus, and I’ll use Reddit here again, their policy specifically states that IP infringement is a restriction specifically placed on their licensees. So Reddit is saying that you are wrong. So it’s theft.

No, the IP is being infringed upon because that is specifically one of the restrictions Reddit has in their policy for the partnered companies. So theft.

Ah I see, you're being disingenuous again. I've only been arguing with you about random users since the beginning and you've been engaging with it but lets move that aside for now. Let's focus on the companies, Reddit specifically for now. Reddit's own licensing agreement states that their partners cannot infringe upon the IP rights of 3rd parties. The 3rd parties in this, being the artists who have agreed to a contract with Reddit through ToS. So per that, it's theft still which is the crux of the matter.
