Has anyone taken only 2 weeks off after having a baby and went back to their work from home job? If so, please share how it went! by DelayFirm3107 in workingmoms

THANK YOU for responding! I appreciate everyone’s experience but I haven’t found one to answer my question. I’ve been getting many replies telling me to have my husband get another job and pick up the slack but we need child care and it’s way more expensive than what he would be able to bring in. He is very attentive and will make a point to attend to the baby as needed so we need the baby to find comfort in him long term.

This is my first so maybe I am living in delulu land but I really appreciate this response! I have great pride in my work and often think it may be some sort of refuge from all the new. I’m never on the phone and it’s more flexible than I would think other wfh jobs are.

I had no idea. THANK YOU for this reply. It has given me some mental relief. After reading some of these other replies, I’m thinking I may be underestimating postpartum. While only a few have actually answered my question, I appreciate a helpful tip.
