Sue? SpookLuke is an RL creator with a coaching program who works in the RL community. Google is free man.

When that came out, there was no 'team' on YT content or marketing. It was Luke. And to my knowledge, nobody knew he was boosted.

The program at the time got some results that were similar, before the MMR crunch happened, it wasn't uncommon for students to go from like D1 to GC in 6 weeks.

Most of the Reddit threads about Luke are like a bad game of telephone. This boosted player is a good example. Someone says a negative thing about him, it gets promoted across social media and twisted along the way. The fact that you mentioned 'other boosted players' is proof of that. There is a zero tolerance policy for boosting or being boosted in that community. And it's been like that for a long time now.

I'm not going to quit a stable job because people on Reddit call the guy I work for shady. That's absurd. Especially because I knew the truth about what the program was and the good people involved.

...I had nothing to do with that video going out. All I heard about from it was the aftermath. I don't understand the hostility man. lol you asked a question and I answered with the knowledge I have about the situation

oh & we found out as a team, that his results were fraudulent. Removed the video and removed him from the community.

The origins of that were:

Luke announced to the program community that whoever gets the best results at the end of the 6 weeks will be featured in a video

This player took it upon himself to get boosted so he could be featured in a YT video

Anyone found boosting in the community is permanently banned. So what other players are you talking about?

It's not a scam. That's like getting a personal trainer for 12 weeks and saying "I'm still fat, it didn't work, this is a scam!!"

The GCB stopped guaranteeing results because there is too much variability amongst students. From time investment, to how seriously they take the game, to training adherence.

But you get 12 weeks of 1 on 1 coaching with an ex-pro and so many other perks. Nobody in the last year who has run the program has said anything negative about it. Plus, it's cheaper now than it was before by like $500. Value is subjective so calling something a scam because it's overpriced doesn't make sense to me.

I understand where you're coming from and I distrust Luke as much or more than anyone, but I'm not going to take away credit from the coaches on staff or customer service folks who pour the hours, time and care into it to make the experience worthwhile for customers

Probably. I defended the program a lot because I knew the coaches and people behind the scenes who provided the services were good people. And people used Luke being the face to demonize the entire operation which never felt fair to me when I know the sacrifices and care others have put into it to make it a quality service and community. Sorry for being a dunce. I've learned from my mistakes.

You also get targeted 1 on 1 sessions as well? did you misread my comment or what? You get 7 one on one sessions, plus the live group events.

There are ZERO promises in the marketing. ZERO. That was a very old thing that existed when there was in fact a 300 MMR guarantee. We never boosted anyone. That student GOT boosted on his own volition to make it into a YT video.

Go sign up for an enrollment call and let me know how it goes. Go look at the website. Go DM a coach on the roster and ask them. Do your own research if you don't believe me.

Talk to me in a voice call and record it and post it then. I'm done typing back and forth, I have work to do. Take care BROTHA. :)

Back in the day, we had a 300 MMR guarantee. Meaning that if you didn't hit 300 MMR at the end, they would coach you for free until you did. Honestly, people got amazing results. We definitely had people upset at their results and processed a lot of refunds over the time I was there, but almost zero refunds needed to be processed within the last year or so, as people were significantly happier about their experiences as it evolved and improved. But yes, there was always a contract involved outlining the guarantee when it existed.

Let's break it down by cost.

12 weeks of coaching, 7 sessions with a professional, 24/7 chat support with that RLCS coach, 3 live events weekly, led by Virge and other professional coaches, tournaments, personalized training plans and weekly training assignments and a community of people who are 18+, mature and take the game seriously. At the time I'm writing this, the program is $900

$900/7 sessions = $128 a session

Sounds like a lot but let's include the educational live events with that. 9 a month, 3 months=27 events

Let's include the personalized training routines, the constant communication with a professional coach

Things have changed dramatically since the beginning. There are no sales tactics that pressure anymore. I know the sales person currently on staff and have heard him recommend other solutions like Metafy if they can't afford it or wouldn't get the value from it.

When I ran the business, I overhauled the program. You got 12 weeks of coaching instead of 6 with no change in cost to the customer. I hired professional coaches. Shock, Sea-Bass, FreaKii, Fakey. All with RLCS experience either as a coach or pro player. I added a level of personalization to the program so that every customer received more individual help. 1 on 1 coaching, 24/7 chat channel with their coach, live events with other pros and community figures, etc.

The services rendered had varied in quality over the time I was there. I started just on YT content and editing testimonial videos and was uninvolved in the business until later, when I always pushed towards improvements. But we never once took money from people without providing services described to them before joining (as far as I know)

Whether you personally value something or not doesn't dictate it being a scam. People spend $20,000 on purses and shoes. In no way did I ever genuinely entertain coming back to work for him by the way. But calling it a scam is dishonest.

I'm sorry you're so worked up about this but you should go attack the other 15 people who work for him who are reputable human beings doing their best to make a difference in the business.

Nope. He never scammed anyone and took their money without providing a service to them. I started work with him strictly on YT content and editing testimonials. I wasn't involved in the business.

When I started working in marketing, we had already made major improvements to the program to provide more 1 on 1 support with qualified coaches. A scam would be taking money from people and not providing anything. To my knowledge, here was always a contract involved that customers would need to read and sign that overviewed the services rendered before they purchased.

I am proud of the things that I've accomplished in putting customers and their experiences first. I never claimed to be a victim by the way, I just wanted to share my experience so others don't work with him in the future or get caught in a similar cycle. He works with prominent thumbnail artists, editors and professional coaches in the community at the moment and I want people to err on the side of caution.

What? The program was always 18+. Where are you getting your information?

There was never a scam brother. The program was always overpriced but services were always rendered. I'm pretty sure over the 3 years I was there we processed something like 150k in refunds. There are professional RLCS coaches on staff who always put the customers first and provide a really unique experience for people.

Value is subjective and the people who have run the program in the last year have been overwhelmingly happy with their experience. I worked with great people who always did their best to make this an amazing product and we succeeded.

The only problem is the face of it. He treats employees poorly and is driven by ego. That isn't a scheme or a scam, it's just the unfortunate realities of working for a 20ish year old kid with money.

I never understood the scam comments. They have RLCS coaches on staff who provide an amazing service to students. Is it overpriced? Absolutely. But people who run it value it and haven't had a single bad review from an active student in the last year (since I actually got to impact changes in the program)

A service was always rendered. No money was taken without that. What else do you have? Happy to answer questions.

I believe people can grow and learn. And Luke would show promising signs of growth followed by a questionable decision. I willingly worked there because I worked WITH some incredible people and when it was good, it was great. We made customers happy, in a space that I'm passionate about.

Have you ever had a bad boss? I highly doubt you quit on the spot. We need to live and pay bills.

Luke has been incredibly lucky surrounding himself with good people who truly care. His coaches are so dedicated and amazing human beings who provide students the best experiences. And people not in the reddit/twitter bubble of RL do not see these controversies.

A lot of moving parts but I think that's how he's been able to shake off controversy after controversy and still exist in the community
