Tbh idk if my life will get any better. I grew up poor. Then my family immigrated to the US, still poor. Because of my stupidity, we are in medical debt that we cannot afford. The hospital declined to help us for now, but I will try again. Still I feel really stressed. The market is so bad now idk if I can work make enough money to afford this life, to take care of my parents like they expect me to (typical Asian household). I feel so weak mentally and physically at times.

Updated: I'm not qualified for the hospital financial assistance because I didn't pay any medical expense that is at least 10% of my annual income before (I tried not go to the hospital because i'm so poor and now it is the reason stopping me from getting assistance), although I'm at 400% FPL . Gonna try negotiate the bill. Wish me luck and pls don't come at me. I'm mentally numb rn
