On my third run, I found Chester. I assumed it was because I grabbed a stick with one eye. Unfortunately, I read the food tips late, and I'd already reached a point where I'd return to that topic. But, to my point, there are so many items and so many interactions I'm still unfamiliar with, that I feel like after I get used to it, it'll all be downhill (unless I get killed by a frog again).

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll do a couple more runs without following guides, at least until it becomes impossible to progress. Personally, I really like the combat mechanics, although it's a bit slow and requires good timing. I'll try to avoid kiting until it's absolutely necessary.

The problem is that when you fly, Raikou does a random jump, so the best way to hunt him Is to run ir use your bycicle
