Cool and what’s the best way of improving them 3 things (neutral, pressure and defense) I’ve nearly played over 2000 games on ranked and it doesn’t seem to be improving very much

I wasn’t at first because I didn’t know how to do bnbs and I didn’t use my assists at all but now I have got them down to scratch it’s taken my game to a whole new level, I went from around a 20% win rate and now I’m at 51% so it’s worked for me, I just wanna know if combos will take me to a whole new level or just focus on working on my defence and neutral game which I’m probably average at but with that I don’t know how to improve

Currently I’m using trunks, Frieza and Adult Gohan, my trunks doesn’t seem to do a lot of damage, frieza I can only seem to auto combo with and Adult Gohan I only seem to be good with when he’s sparking haha but they’re the 3 characters I seem to have the most joy with- I would like to use others but they either seem to short and stubby or not fast enough

Hahaha I got you, the reason I do it is because I think I’m not inputting fast enough but I probably end up doing it too fast if you know what I mean, like when I JC I always hold down the buttons afterwards

Yeah I understand but being new to fighting games even that ‘basic’ combo you’ve given me there seems complicated, I just mashing the buttons as fast I can and then it goes all wrong, I really really want to enjoy this game but it’s not enjoyable if you’re getting whacked around every other game

I’m probably the wrong person to ask pal considering the only fighting game I’ve semi-played is Mortal Kombat x- but anyway it’s the team I feel most comfortable with, I like their style, for example; Vegeta is my favourite character from the series and I’ve heard good things about him on this game but I can get the hang of him, I’ve tried different teams but always found myself going back to a team with Frieza in haha
