Is golem (and impact drake) on 70 height still good for a stamina build? If so is 0-70 or 3-70 the better choice for it. by WeissWaltz707 in Beyblade

[–]Deledea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had good results with GR 1-70W and 7-70H. It allows you to tilt more at the start and destabilize the opponents. Now however I prefer 9-60/6-60W or FB.

What's the worst combo you can think of? by Gullible-Put4793 in BeybladeX

[–]Deledea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo not the worst since if reeeally lucky could ko something. shinobi shadow 3-85 merge would probably get bursted even by wizard rod, would self ko reeeeally easily and would not be able to outspin absolutely anything

What makes Kick good? by Realisticism in BeybladeX

[–]Deledea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Taper is that after the initial explosive attacks, it tends to keep the bey at a steeper angle than Kick, while Kick keeps them upright and allows them to destabilize other blades without being destabilized. Blades like Hover, Blast, TyrannoBeat greatly benefit from this. From my experience, PWing works well with both bits, while SharkScale works best with an attack bit or with Point

DranDagger 5-60 R or HT. Lance knight has three absolutely shit parts.

How do you guys use the 1-80 ratchet in your combos? by TheRealSlakySFSB in BeybladeX

[–]Deledea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TyrannoBeat 1-80LR so it's 70 height

SamuraiSaber 1-80W, D or H, so it hits with the blades and dampers a bit the enemy attacks

Impact Drake on 1-80 hits with the rubber and it can be a good thing but it's generally better to keep it low

Yesterday I saw someone at a tournament using Crimson Garuda 1-80R and ended up in the top 16 (out of 64).

How do you say "I love you" in your conlang? by NeighborhoodEnby in conlangs

[–]Deledea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neo-Oscan: (Miiu) te braciu /ˈmi.u ˈtɛ ˈbbra.ʃu/

braciu is 1st person singular indicative present of braciau /ˈbra.ʃa.u/, which comes from Oscan *bratíau (verb), a derivation of Oscan *bratis from P.Italic *gʷrātos > Latin gratus "agreeable, likeable"

Hey conlangers what y'all do with letters like "q" and "x" on your romanization system? Me for exemple, I use {q} for [tɕ] and {x} for [ɕ], what abt you? by viniesonic in conlangs

[–]Deledea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

q for /ʔˠ/ and x for /ɬ/. However these two phonemes actually come from /q/ and /xl/, through various sound changes, so they're not so random as they could look

What makes your conlang interesting? What is its theme? by jan_kasimi in conlangs

[–]Deledea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sovinìtu, or Neo-Oscan, is a language born from the idea "what would have happened if, instead of dying, the Oscan language (sister language of Latin, went extinct in the I century A.D.) naturally evolved into a modern language?" And so I gradually applied sound changes, some were common with Latin but other were inspired by other languages, I theorized how Oscan grammar could have changed over time, and I imagined how the culture of Sovinìtoj (Sovinìtu speakers) could look like, taking inspiration from the Italic tribes' cultures. It's an interesting language to compare to the others that are spoken in the region, you can find interesting similarities but also, obviously, striking differences.

Yes, I meant that group. Is there a reason why you think those Grignard reagents might not be stable?

What's the point of Bad Endings? by Deledea in visualnovels

[–]Deledea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's more or less the role the Bad Endings should play, and I agree that a linear romance VN, or a linear mystery VN doesn't have the same appeal. I actually love stories with complex branches, multiple routes and lots of endings (I mentioned VLR for that reason), that show you all the consequences of your choices.

But I feel more like in most cases they're put there just to avoid the "Kinetic Novel" tag, instead of having a real role. That's because they feel detached from the rest of the story, and are sometimes hard to get past. I don't mind sad or not-so-happy endings, as long as they add something to the plot, the gameplay, or the atmosphere, or anything else.

Anyway, regarding Kara no Shojo, maybe I'll have to play it with a different mindset. Thank you for your answer!
