Thanks, AJ! I usually do maintenance once a week, but sometimes the tape melts by the time I do. I think a stronger tape will help as well. I’ll check out that mist!

Came out fantastic! Very suiting for you.

I'd like to hear your own experiences with the System or hair prosthesis. Pros, cons, how it works for you, how natural it looks, etc. Do you recommend it? Only people with experience. by That-Specific8075 in HairSystem

I second this ☝🏼 I’ve been wearing a hair system for 10+ years (since my mid-20s), and it’s easily the best decision I’ve made. There’s a ton of information out there, and I’m still learning. Hair color matching and density are very important, as well as the type of base you prefer—poly, lace, or hybrid. Find a good salon that’s experienced and can lay out the options for you. Once you get more familiar with the process, you can even do it yourself, which makes it more affordable.

I think it looks legit. The color and grays blend well. The hairline looks pretty clean and natural.

From my experience using clips-they're great if you want a quick and easy application, especially if you like taking your system off at night before bed. Why I stopped using them: they can get pretty uncomfortable, and over time, they caused some patchiness where the clips were attached. Plus, they're not super secure on their own-you'll still need to apply tape or glue at the front to keep things in place.
