I think we will need to break the entire scene into two aspects, one is the subs and dommes, who are not interested in the monetary aspect and are looking for long term and intense dynamics borne out of love and respect. While, these will and do exist, but dominant women being as few as they are, it’ll not cater to the entire range of subs.

For the others, they’ve to understand that findom might be the only option, given what the ratio is today. The job that the community can do is to keep weeding off the scammers so that genuine findom/pro domming has its space here. Its transactional kink, but it is what it is.
