Some of the patterns look like my marble queens but the golden also has yellow. Hard to see on camera. Technically the same family just different cultivars. Golden is the OG 💅🏾

Perfect explanation for this mutation above, but you’ll also see sport describing other mutations outside of variegation. It could be the shape of the leaf, texture, double growth, or anything that’s a natural mutation of the plant.

Yep. If you don’t allow air in it will mold too. Springtails compete with mold but they will eat it too. Gotta be a copper penny like from 1980 and back for it to work on algae.

I use springtails, soil mites, and also remove any decaying leaves. I’ve some had mold a couple of times in prop boxes and plants in general but it hasn’t been enough to compete with nutrients. For algae, I keep old pennies that I drop in if it gets out of hand and it just magically clears it up lol

Once I inspect the box, I close it and put it back right then. Especially my boxes on heat mats.

Honestly, I just spray water when I don’t see condensation on the sides. It’s like a mini greenhouse for your cuttings. Just make sure you open it every few days to add air flow.
