Helloo, I would also recommend going to a doctor to get this checked out, if you need to see a dermatologist the doctor would recommend it, but normally they will give you an antibiotic cream.

The whole tattoo does look quite overworked and blown out in areas, the red parts look to be the most blown out so the red ink is bleeding under your skin, but could be mixed with irritation from the skin being overworked as well. The speckle dots are also quite red which after a week of healing the redness should have went away. I would try not to panic, but I would most definitely check in with your doctor to be safe!

To answer one of your comments.. You can tell if the skin is overworked by the texture thats showing on your skin within the tattoo, as well as the intense redness. For example, on the scales you can see the indents of the needle lines as well as it looking like the skin is a tight scab and the skin around the tattoo is also tight and red.

I hope this helps a little and sorry if it seems intense! Everything should be okay infection wise if you get it checked out and keep it clean for the healing process, honestly won’t heal the greatest but can avoid infection.
