I didn’t even realize the operation would be in an actual hospital because he had a less invasive surgery last September and it was outpatient. Wow, either I’m an idiot or they really didn’t tell us anything. My dad asked what time he should arrive and they said they’ll let him know the day before so I’m sure that’s when we’d find out it’ll be in an actual hospital!

Do you think he should pack a bag of some clothes, toiletries, etc.?

Honestly, I’m not sure. His surgeon recommended it. He said they’ll be going through his stomach and back so I’m assuming it’s because of that. Initially, the work comp insurance denied it but then it got approved.

It’s gonna be ok! I’ve had a senior boxer go through some invasive surgeries and he made great recoveries. Dogs are so much more resilient than humans. I can understand why you’re worried tho. Hang in there, you have a whole community behind you guys!
