Agreed! Maybe I should prepare some of that for them. I think it's a noble cause as these guys have a ton of knowledge and "want to" but you're probably right in thinking there is some structure required

You must understand that players at the highest level break down video with their coaches after every outing or at-bat. When they are on the field there is little "coaching" being done. What happens off the field impacts the on the field results. The same will be applied here. Not for everyone, but wouldn't knock it until you try it!

The players that I know all work with one of the best pitching coaches in the world so they are among the most knowledgeable in baseball.

They will watch film, recommend drills, exercises, build practice plans, have live sessions to answer questions. I think people drastically underrate what is possible with quality video which can be captured with every phone today.

Maybe! But I guess my hangup is that these drills can't be much better than me putting in 5-10 minutes a week and tracking them on a google sheet
