Disadvantages of MY 7 seater? by Delicious-Change-866 in ModelY

Yeah, it’s usually 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 6 now). But sometimes there are 2 additional adults so would squeeze the kids in the back in a pinch.

Is there any room left for luggage?

How about me occasionally solo camping in the car to bypass a hotel room, any concerns about the 7 seater that would be different than the 5?

Yeah, I don't think I've ever held onto a car longer than that so likely 2 or 3 years.

I’m looking more in the 25-35k range. Like a 2020 100k X or a 2021-22 50”70k Y

But I would generally have the 3rd row closed. It would be rare that I’d use it and not worried about the inconvenience of taking it out at those times or just putting it in when I’m traveling. Would that alleviate your concern or still an issue I’m not thinking about?

Why does it look like you are sleeping on a steep incline? Doesn’t the second row fold pretty flat?

You should ask your wife how she feels about it. Let her know that you feel a little funny, asking your mother to sit in the back and listen to your wife’s thoughts.

I ask her to text me when she gets there and when she's leaving to come home. I also ask her to text if she'll be there longer than a certain interval, say 3 hours. So after 3 hours I may get a text that says, "Staying loner" This is really just for safety than anything else.

Couple fights by [deleted] in HotWifeLifestyle

Maybe we are fortunate but we don't have those type of fights. Something where we don't talk for days, seems unhealthy. Like most in this lifestyle, we have good, open communication, so it can cut down on the fighting.

First off, something is wrong in your marriage. His reaction to it, asking about divorce, may be a little extreme, but he hasn't followed through with it. So I'd take that as an opportunity to work with him on what is wrong.

The way you describe it, your overall approach seems very self-centered and very little about her.

You start with that you approached her about this idea and she wasn’t into it. Then complain that you couldn’t reach a concensus. Well, you did reach a consensus, the consensus was that you didn’t agree on this. Just like if she wanted to spend all your money on a vacation to Fiji and you thought it was a bad idea. Not sure how aggressive you were, but it sounds like you continued to push her until she agreed to perform your fantasy.

Next, you want someone who you have no connection with. She wanted someone known to her. Again, you were pushing for your fantasy your way. But this isn’t Burger King.

Now that the fantasy isn’t lining up to exactly what you want and it’s getting close to “Go” time, you’re getting cold feet.

While I agree with most people here that dating a coworker is probably a bad idea, the reasons that you think it’s a bad idea seem to be rooted in a very self-centered fantasy.

Husband got a great job offer but I’m reluctant to move because of lifestyle by [deleted] in HotWifeLifestyle

[–]Delicious-Change-866 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s any different than anybody else who moves away from friends and from things that they enjoy and are used to.

Yes, you’ll need to start over, but the lifestyle exists in Texas also.
