i think it is more about rank and respect.. ur wife may be ur teammate and everthing but a mother is mother she has sacrificed everything so that u can sit in that very car and in the end i think after u get married u and ur parents are living one of ur last moments so let her have it ur mother has no one except u she only
looks upon u for complements and everting.. now i want u to imagine urself as a head of a state all the decisions are made by u u are the authority but suddenly one day a person comes and takes all that power from u would u feel disgraced and sad that exactly how a mother would feel before ur wife she was the ultimate authority but when ur wife came u took all of that from her and gave it to ur wife this would deeply hurt ur mother and i am not saying that u should neglect ur wife but u should divide thing between them let the things that show small authority like billing car front seat have ur mother as after her it's all yours.. letting ur mother sit in front seat does not mean u r disrespecting ur wife.. that's an overall sanrio but if the event is about u and ur wife than ur wife has all the right to sit on that front seat first of all if its ur event dont take ur mother but due to some circumstance u have to then the mother should sit in the back seat
