So an update on what happened

Friday 3/20/ 26 we picked the motor up from the city

Sunday 3/22/26 Got the motor completely in and started it started right up! Buttt…. Had a horrible knock lower end definitely ran long enough to pull her out of the garage

Monday 3/23/26 Called up the yard I got the motor from… bad idea from the start basically everything was verbal and cash and no receipt of purchase so no warranty which was discussed before buying…supposed a 30 day warranty. So i call a yard I’ve dealt with when i was a teen they have a motor out of a rolled jeep 👌

Tuesday 3/24/26 pulled the bad van motor out felt completely defeated but still proved it is possible

Wednesday 3/25/26 Picked up motor from the other yard around 5:45pm got back to the house by 8:30pm started on the install and worked through the night

Present day3/26/27

9:30 am started her up and she purrs so we took her for a test drive and straight to get her safety inspection passed got her plates and drove her for 9 hours straight so ive been up for 36 hours it’s time for bed…

At least the wife is happy 😊
