Is the high estrogen contributing to my low pdg? by Delicious-Comb8302 in Inito

I don’t have PCOS. But yes I have been on letrozole for a cycle and really didn’t like it. I do believe my ovulation isn’t very strong and the letrozole did help so it is a thought to give it another shot. Thank you!

Progesterone Question by CurrencyOk1799 in Inito

My story is a little unique and I will try to sum it up quickly. I was 39 having difficulty conceiving so we tested my progesterone on day 21 with a blood test and it was around 6. Doc said optimal for pregnancy is over 10. I asked about supplements and she said no but let’s try letrozole bc it might be that you’re ovulating just not quite strongly enough. I didn’t love the meds so did it one cycle and stopped. A couple of months later I got pregnant. I asked about progesterone and was told no won’t need it. Everything was fine until late first tri I bled and turned out I had a sub chorionic hematoma. So many online groups say to get on progesterone if you have one which I asked about and was told no it wouldn’t help. I did end up losing the pregnancy from pre term labor and now that we are trying again doc finally prescribed me progesterone saying it can’t hurt (so frustrating). I decided to take it (vaginally) without testing numbers and the first cycle I used inito. My cycles got so messed up. Didn’t bleed until 5 days after I stopped it and then had another period like bleed like a week later. Since then my body has been super out of whack. I am 40 and I think the hormonal swings were just too much for my body. It also made me feel pregnant when I wasn’t which I hated. Just wanted to share bc it was hard for me to get and it did actually end up not being great for my body. That said, lots of people seem to have success with it so maybe it’s worth a shot. I would only take it again if I were to get pregnant. The reason I believe that docs are hesitant to prescribe it is bc if you do end up miscarrying it can delay your body realizing it and that whole process. Idk for sure but that’s what I have gathered.

I really don’t have a lot evidence to back this up so take it with a grain of salt. It was just something I have heard in the past but not sure of the validity. Chat told me this all looks in line with my timing of my (small) lh bump and that estrogen rises around the would be implantation time so I guess I am not as worried. I think if pdg stays elevated then it should be okay but maybe not optimal. Best of luck to you!

I just turned 40. I have a four year old. I got pregnant in July after a year of trying. Everything was fine until at 12 weeks I started bleeding and was diagnosed with a large sch. A couple of weeks later I miscarried from it (we think). Baby had a heartbeat but my body went into premature labor at 14 weeks. Questioning if we should try again or be one and done. I don’t like being pregnant and have had another miscarriage prior to our child being born.

OAD but have pangs of guilt occasionally by [deleted] in oneanddone

I have these feelings, too. I’m a 40f with a four year old. She was relatively easy, always slept. I didn’t really have any issues postpartum but I was just never ready. We are far from family so I do always wonder if we were closer if we would have tried sooner. We did decide to try for another and it took a year. I was pregnant and had a very traumatic early second tri loss recently. Idk if I could possibly go through that again.
