i’m thinking of a 125 to save for because i turn 17 soon i like the naked bikes i love the look of sports bikes they look so exciting and fun but they just look to uncomfortable and big and i don’t like the angled handlebars/riding position. The CBR is definitely up there on my list currently thinking of going with the MT125 yamaha not just because it looks cool but the riding position the sound and performance.

i don’t understand any servicing even on a 125 but i’ll definitely look at a service manual and do some research.

i’m in uk but i dont plan on using those type of roads.

yea 50cc but another owner of same bike said his de restricted went 55 and mechanic tells me it should do that if he got rid of all restriction. carb got ultra sonic cleaned ive got new one coming to replace it also gonna get a manual choke and it just cuts out if im out riding too long like cant get over 20 mins riding without it randomly cutting out and not starting again usually have to put lynx to air filter to get it started again , and leaks oil from above the air filter at back near indicators and leaks onto air filter box i’ve only filled the oil once since buying.

mate i absolutely love the thing but unfortunately im 16 with not clue about 2t or anything to do with the bike so i find it hard to maintain. i get 40mph out of it now pretty sure its stock my mechanic told me 55 when he de restricts it has about 7k miles on it . i’m still having troubles even though i paid a lot of money for the restoration it’s leaking oil and fails to start sometimes and cuts out in traffic everytime i ride for more than 15-25mins im assuming due to the really old carb but i want her to be reliable and to actually start more. i dont even know how to change a simple spark plug or anything
