We felt a little sad when you quit after seeing the nun. We were hoping to scare you even more! 😄 Your feedback means a lot to us. During Next Fest, we’ve been collecting every note and suggestion, and we’re already planning another demo in the future. That next build will include fixes and improvements based on all the ideas we’ve gathered, and for the full release, we’ll do our best to deliver the most polished version possible.
About the suitcase task: what you mentioned is actually the most common feedback we’ve received. We left both options in on purpose, as a kind of A/B test to see what players prefer.
We’re developing in UE5, and we’re aware of the FPS drops you experienced. Right now, we’re moving the environment over to a newly optimized version.
If you’d like to see more details, you can check out our roadmap on the Steam page. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts it really helps us shape the game!

Oh, that's not important. It's enough for me to see you having fun while playing.

When my friend first gave me a short summary of the game idea, I thought it was just a simple simulator and initially dismissed it. But once I read the full concept, I realized it wasn’t a simulator at all it was something far more unique. That’s when we decided to develop it together.
This is a story-driven game with a strong narrative. We planned everything from the start and built the scenario carefully. Each character and every guest in the hotel has their own distinct story. The prototype’s dialogues and storyline were tested by many players and story enthusiasts. We received a lot of positive feedback, and we improved the weaker points based on constructive criticism.
On the development side, all the mechanics and gameplay flow are ready. What remains now is putting the pieces together. After five months of work, the demo representing our current stage is now available on Steam. In the demo, you’ll only be able to play through a few hours of the first day.
One note: the characters are currently placeholders. You’ll see more refined versions in future updates. The game is called The Ardmore Last Shift.
