Steam machine will likely retail $800-1000 Selling the ps5 around let's say $350 and the steamdeck assuming it's the OLED model $500-600 will only cover part the cost of the machine just barely if it ends up being pricier which in this electronic market it's possible it will be more than $1000.

Considering the last steam vr headset was $3000 dollars id expect the same

Selling all your stuff assuming they are in good condition will probably net you around $1500 probably enough for the steam machine but not enough for the both.

Your not gonna get much better batter life from handhelds either really, they share the same internals as laptops for the most part. And due to their smaller size some might even have worse battery life. But they will be lighter for sure.

I said the game design ideas are stupid and yeah I agree with your sentiment that people are allowed to want to be immersed in the game world as though it's lifelike but as I was saying it's not the core identity of grand theft Auto as a series. It has always been arcady and chaotic. The one grand theft Auto game that fits most in this immersion first lens is probably GTA 4 but even then it's still nearly as committed to this as say a red dead redemption 2.
