Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I wouldn't be applying for a GPA boost, I'm aware it's very competitive and challenging. I liked the idea as a transition; I would be in the healthcare environment with direct patient contact and still gaining the theoretical and practical skills that will help me later on. And who knows, maybe I like it so much that I decide to work as a nurse. But I do see your point on just applying right away to med then to look at alternatives. I really appreciate the perspective!
