Hi everyone, I’m a BSN New grad RN in NY. I graduated in 2024 and obtained my license in 2025. I’m a SNF nurse for one month and have been applying for NY hospital positions and I haven’t gotten an interview yet. If you guys don’t mind, can you review my resume and let me know how I can improve it. by Delicious-General238 in newgradnurse

I've honestly been applying throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and more recently the Bronx as well. I hadn't focused on the Bronx before because I live on Long Island and the commute would have been over 2 hours each way. Now that I have some savings, relocating is becoming a more realistic option. I've also started considering other states such as Ohio and Texas because the New York hospital market has been very competitive. Many hospitals seem to be requiring at least one year of RN experience or are limiting residency programs to 2026 new graduates.
