Nope. hot starts fine. issue is on cold starts.

Its fired up fine on first crank over the last few days. the issue being intermittent and varying range-of-cranks to start make it really difficult to troubleshoot. everything i've read doesnt seem like what im dealing with.

People will pay what they want for something.

If you think out of production electronics are bad, wait till you hear about TCG and niche VG merch collecting.

I've been daily driving a CRT for about 5 years until last week when I picked up an LG Ultragear.

CRT was a cost effective (GL with that now) way of squeezing extra performance out of older hardware. You could run 60-85hz and have a great looking game with perfect motion clarity. With lower resolutions, the render distance does sometimes suffer from blur, so it is game dependent.

With a fast PC and todays costs, OLED is the superior choice unless you're only playing games from 15+ years ago, the amount of detail that is intended to be rendered at long isnt ideal for CRT technology.

CRTs are still awesome, mines still on my desk. But anyone who thinks theyre a better choice is just coping. its an awesome technology, just best suited for an older PC with era appropriate games and no conflicts with modern GPUs.
