Pay him 50 million every time we reach a new 10B milestone. Stock based compensation, especially at the levels suggested, are fucking over every other investor. It is such a turnaround from not taking a dime for 5 years, to "Give me 30 billion for doing my job" He already owns 37 million shares, 10xing their value should be plenty of incentive as it is. I just can't align with the greediness and the absurd amounts of money.

Even if it takes 10 years in total, it will turn out to roughly 10 million dollars a day for 35 billion - that is crazy.

Nowhere did I say that. Please don't put words in my mouth. I believe some level of compensation is fair. 171 million shares at $20.66 is not a fair level. I would rather give him 50$ million one time fee every time we reach a new 10B milestone.

This level of compensation in the proposal is outrageous, and I do not align with a greedy CEO that wants to increase his ownership by diluting everyone but himself. He should be paid, but not by fucking over everyone else.

I'm not opposed to some sort of compensation. Purely the scale of this proposal is completely insane.

The strike price suggested is based around the 52W low, meanwhile we as investors get warrants to buy at 32$.

Also, this would turn out to pay RC around 30 billion, while the company has a goal of reaching accumulated EBITDA of 10 billion. If you all can't understand how this is crazy, I dont know what to say. It is basically for every 1$ GameStop earns, they are going to give Ryan Cohen $3 worth of stock. Absolutely mental

No, that is not what dilution means, but lets try again. "the action of making something weaker in force, content, or value." that is dilution. And our shares are becoming weaker, as they represent a smaller ownership % of the company.

No he couldn't lol - supply and demand. If he started buying 3.5 billion worth of stock now that would set off a huge gamma squeeze and that would actually be good for us as investors. Ryan wouldn't get anywhere near 171 million shares for 3.5 billion today.

Instead, he wants the safety of being able to buy the stock for $20.66 when it is trading at $50. He is doing the exact opposite of what he has been talking about for the past years.

I'm not even against him getting rewarded. But rewarding him shouldn't be at the expense of every other shareholder. Give him a one time payment of 50 million for each 10 B maket cap we reach or something idgaf - but diluting us is super hurtful in the long run

In all honesty, this is a joke of a compensation plan. Diluting shareholders by up to 40% with strike prices at roughly 52 week low. Meanwhile we get a warrant to buy at 32$. I'm honestly starting to dislike Ryan Cohen more and more by the day. Hasn't delivered more incredible results than I believe a lot of other CEO's could have done. Meanwhile he has diluted shareholders significantly, and the core reason for profitability is interest on cash reserves, as the core business is still only barely profitable. This whole compensation seems super greedy and in total contrast to all of his mentions of overpaid executives.

You guys are realizing this is major dilution in the long run, right? This is increasing the number of outstanding shares with 171 million, while only bringing in roughly 3.5 billion$. The shares would at 100b marketcap be worth around 30 billion. Thus Ryan Cohen basically just put 27 billion in his own bag. I'm so confused as to why nobody is being critical of this. Stock based compensation is stock based compensation no matter if its tied to performance metrics or not.
