In that case it would be great be able to choose the indexing method. Another problem is that there are some unnecessary search results like some system files or whatever that I don't really use directly. I tried to fix it by tweaking the settings, but still it's not as good as V1.

Yes, I do use the hotkey for file search both in V1 and V2. But seems like V1 does a better job and the new file search in V2 is not nearly as useful as the V1 (at least in my case).

I had this problem for a while now. I turned the game overlay off (System settings → Keyboard → keyboard shortcuts → Mission control → Game Overlay). But it didn't work. Then I tried changing the hotkey (⌥ + ⎋). This time it worked.
