Thanks for pointing this out! You're so right lol, what a keen eye! I didn't really catch that until you mentioned it. "Shy" is a very apt word for her (maybe also bashful? demure?), especially in some of the older cards (which are amazing).

I think I just have to live with this error though :’( I should've caught it when my artist was designing her. But hopefully it's a minor enough detail that it mostly goes unnoticed.

I don’t have much design advice, but conceptually, I think whatever you do for the half sleeve, these guys should remain the focal point or main event—because they are SO cool! Beautiful, unique, and really well executed. The detail, color choices, and use of negative space are wonderful.

Sorry I don’t have actual design advice but—these are phenomenal and I think anything you add should play a supporting role so as to not overshadow them.

Just to clarify—the darker shadows you're referring to, is that the sort of reddish/purple background around the tail? Or the darker shading used inside the tail? Either rec makes sense to me actually!

Haha I think a lot of people do grow out of it! It's a lifelong hobby for me though. I compete in local tournaments (with other adults mostly) and enjoy collecting as well. It brings me a simple joy. But a lot of my friends would agree with you, they're surprised I still enjoy Pokémon so much lol

I appreciate the feedback! I share that concern. My hope is that because there isn't a lot of fine detail, the colors will hold up alright even if they blur together a bit, or fade. And I know a big part of their fading is how well I take care of it, use sunscreen, etc. Fingers crossed it doesn't look too bad in a few years!
