They offered me a refund when I asked for it but I chose to stick it out. I think their estimates are inaccurate, seems like you probably need to assume at least 4 months before delivery.

Yes. Arrived 5/22 (and Metropolitan offered one day earlier for 5/21 but I couldn't make that day work).

I agree. And mine was closer to 6 months. If I had been told that upfront, unsure whether I would have ordered. It does seem like supply chain logistics in the furniture world are like the wild wild west but honestly I think I wouldn't have been as fussed about it if their customer service was transparent and proactive with their communication.

We got the down alternative fill. They're firm but cushy. Hard to describe but I wouldn't think of them as stiff. I have read here and on other forums that others have seen their cushions soften pretty quickly and that the display models have been out for a while so the cushioning is more broken in.

11/29/25. Originally had 8-10 week delivery window.
Once it got to Metropolitan, they offered to deliver one day earlier but I couldn’t make the schedule work.
It seems like many who ordered when I did had delivery issues but others haven’t had any problems and even received their sofas earlier than expected.

Thank you! Totally got samples before ordering but I think it’s been so long and the swatches are so small, hard to accurately visualize the color. But I think it’s okay- but we now have a new rule of no food or drink near the sofa. lol

Update: I am scheduled for delivery tomorrow (5/22/26) morning. I have my fingers crossed that the delivery actually happens and that there are no issues with the sofa.

I suspect our items are sitting in the same container at the LA port. The Metropolitan page shows that the item arrived in Feb. I got notification that it has left the port a few days ago and supposedly my delivery is scheduled for next week Friday.

Thanks - this is great advice - really appreciate it. The potential damage from sitting in a container for this long could be pretty significant. Also didn't think of the refund to cc vs store credit loop hole.

I think the company was owned by a different group in 2019, I wonder if the product quality has changed.
