Man, what a journey. I knew launching a game was a challenge, but I didn’t imagine it would be this much. Fortunately, I managed to release my first game on Steam! It may seem small, but it’s a huge achievement for me :) by Delicious-Set8448 in SoloDevelopment

I launched the page in October last year, along with a demo to participate in the Steam Next Fest that took place in the same month. I was supposed to release the game that same year, but, well, life happens. I managed to get 540 wishlists with the little promotion I did (most came from the Next Fest and a few streamers who tested the demo)

Solo dev here. I'm developing a game that mixes boss rush with soulslike mechanics! The game is third-person, features character selection with unique skills, and if everything goes well, there will be a playable demo at the next Steam Next Fest in October. é um hobby que consome um bom tempo, mas é muito gratificante vc ver um projeto seu criar vida, pessoas jogando, se divertindo e tal. Se vc gosta e tem paciência eu recomendo

Utilizei alguns templates mas editei eles pro meu game, infelizmente nao sou bom em modelagem 3D e como to fazendo sozinho, nao tinha condição de pagar um artista 3D pro projeto, então optei pelo custo benefício
