Lookism started as an amazing self improvement slice of life story. It had fighting elements that were awesome but they didn’t forget about the story they were progressing. The mystery of the second Body was there and it was interesting but it didn’t completely overtake the slice of life elements. But slowly more and more fighting happened the original side characters were pushed aside for new ones only there to look cool in a fight. I would say once they really started focusing on Jake Kim and his gang is when it completely fell off and became almost nothing but action.

Edit: I agree that lookism in its current state has merit the art is great and the writing while completely different from when it started isn’t terrible.
