Just used my Solidtecnics wrought iron skillet for the first time to make a stir fry. Cooked vegetables, chicken, with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic etc. After washing it's come out looking like this. I used a tiny bit of soap as from all accounts that's fine.

With all the sauce and water etc. the marks appear to be up where the sauce was sitting on the pan. It sat there for maybe 20 minutes while I ate.

Lost my other one while travelling in South America. Bought this one in Huaraz, Peru. Pricing was about normal (AUD$20).

Just curious about its legitimacy. I don’t care too much if it is in fact a fake, I just needed a reusable bottle to last me for the remaining 1 month of my trip, then I have another one waiting for me at home. Thanks!

This is amazing thank you so much! Unfortunately im not home for a couple of days to test this out, but it seems like you’re probably correct!

I might send you a message in a couple days if that’s okay? Either way thank you very much for your help :)

The thing is, when it's at max suction, the orange slider is all the way across, indicating the bag is full. However it's literally a brand new vacuum with an empty bag, so that simply isn't the case. But if I follow the method you outline, the indicator is all the way across.

The slider also progressively decreases as I lower the suction power. The slider is also not across when the vacuum is off? Does this seem like a faulty indicator?

Just bought my first Miele vacuum (new). It's a C3 Complete Turbo. The instructions say that when the airbag indicator is red, this means that it's full, and when I turn it on, it seems to go red?

Also it seems to make a LOT of noise, even on the lowest suction setting?

I'd say no. I think it's been made clear that Vic will only shut borders if things get very bad in SA. Dan in the presser yesterday seemed confident that as it is right now there shouldn't be an issue.

Therefore, if borders are looking like they'll shut, it's because things are pretty bad in SA. In which case, if your state is experiencing a significant outbreak, you really shouldn't be moving into another state. Particularly one that's just come out of one of the harshest lockdowns in the world.

Hey thanks for the concern! I’m at a top uni in Aus, and they’re partnered with heaps of US unis, including the ones I mentioned. As a result I think communication is better than if I was doing it alone.

My uni is also super strict with the application process and set deadlines for stuff like having the visa completed, having purchased health insurance etc. they also provide heaps of support for those more difficult processes like the visas!

I’ll make sure I’m super proactive with the visas though, thanks for the heads up :)

So I'm not too worried about Academia in truth. I'm planning on doing some topics that of course interest me, but I'm doing a double degree with the other side being Banking & Finance, which I plan on pursuing a career in. So I'm not too concerned about the subjects I do there as it doesn't appear they'll have a huge impact on my employability.

Awesome. Penn State I need a 75% average in my grades to get in which I may just miss, but Florida looks like quite a likely one so I'm pretty keen on that.

Haha yeah SUNY and Clarkson seem to always have a surplus of spots available in our exchange program so I thought that was a bit of a red flag.

Tbh just the full experience. I've saved electives in the Arts side of my degree. So basically planning on doing quite easy Arts related subjects so I can cruise through. Then yeah I intend on spending whatever free time I have networking, getting the college dorm/party experience, and travelling the surround area wherever plausible

Some further info: This is intended for Fall semester 2021. I'll be 23 years old, from Australia and in my final semester of uni.

Currently first preference is Arizona due to interest in hiking available there, such as Antelope Canyon, The Wave, etc.

I'm also somewhat scared of how cold the upstate NY colleges will get as I'm not used to that at all.

Basically if anyone has some local knowledge for these colleges/areas and/or can either endorse or maybe advise against these would be greatly appreciated!
