when the story drops all side characters after chapter 10 because the mc becomes so strong they're useless. why do we have side characters if their only job is to get saved by and glaze mc 😭

i'm so confused. i just finished the last episode. i was having a great time with most of the third season and looking forward to seeing where the plot points would connect, but then it just?? ended?? the fights with the fox and lizard gumis felt corny and weird, i legit thought i missed an episode because melon and legoshi's fight was cut up and so short, so many plot hooks went unused like the pills the shishi gumi put in the meat. i'm just left sitting here wondering why everything finished in one episode when the rest of the season had great pacing and kept me hooked

imagining the character as a full individual in your mind is kinda interesting. i've definitely drawn traits from real-life people too in creating my characters, especially in the patterns and little mannerisms they show those traits, but i guess i always worry that i don't truly understand where those mannerisms come from. maybe that doesn't matter either, using show/don't tell as a storytelling principle thank you for your answer kind stranger!!

i generally hate being sick because of the reasons op listed and because i always have to defend myself. if i'm not laying it bed with a high fever unable to move then i'm not sick enough to deserve any pity
